this painting was done as a Christmas gift for a friend of mine who requested a portrait of herself =) Turning up a little on the late side, I must confess, as it was a tad more difficult than I had expected it to be. I've honestly never had that much trouble doing skin before T_T ~ Anyways, I think she wanted a classic one, so I tried not to stray too much away from the reference picture (although, I was sorely tempted to make it less realistic-looking...). I picked a golden theme much because she's a fan of most things...er...gold. She also likes a lot of Asian stuff, so I took the liberty of including a few Asian elements in the picture.

The image was sketched on paper and coloured in PainterIX. Thank you for looking and happy new years =)

inspired by music....i luv listening to music and wanted to do something reflecting that....it turned out a portrait with some headphones...heehee. I actually aimed for a light and playful mood with the colours I chose, but it seems some ppl find it to be more dreamy than playful...i dunno. Anyways, I am also trying to find a decent middle way between photorealism and a somewhat more painterly style...turns out to be a little more difficult than I would want it to be....but yeah, turn on some music and Let's Get Lifted

hmm...what to say about this one...I drew this HP fanart right after having read the last book in the series. I think I wanted first to do something in memory of Dumbledore. So I picked a golden coloured theme to sort of reflect royalty/masjesty. Harry's on the brink of a dangerous journey so I wanted cold colours for him. Hermione and Ron...well, they're his friends so they're sort of the symbol of something warm and familiar...

this was a xmas gift for my brother. He actually requested a little less clothes, but I got lost in the design of things =_=

Anyways, oasis was sort of the keyword while drawing this. I wanted a fresh and sweet look, more like an overall feel of summer. Hence the warm colours.
I know the edges are a bit rough, I tend to leave it like that cause I like that sort of look. The bra nearly killed my eyes...It was meant to be the one and only thing of great detail. Everything else is pretty simple. The necklace is a model of my own, except mine is blue.
